SAINT NICHOLAS IN MERANO IN SOUTH TYROL

The Church of San Nicoḷ or  Cathedral of Merano is the main Roman Catholic rite church in the city of Merano. Sits in the middle of the historic centre at the end of the arcades.

The San campanile Nicoḷ in Merano is 83 metres tall and is one of the more impressive dellâ   Tyrol has an octagonal shape whose main characteristic is the pointed arch on which it stands. The three planes were built more low in the 15th and 16th centuries.
In 1617 it was built the so-called "Italian style", the body with octagonal dome made from comasco Giovanni Bosacchi.
